This Privacy Policy explains how Keep Your Diet Real (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you visit keepyourdietreal.com, browse recipes, save favorites, submit reviews, subscribe to our newsletter, or otherwise use our website (the “Service”).

Keep Your Diet Real is a free recipe discovery site. We show advertising and use analytics so we can keep the Service running and improve it. By using the Service, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

1. Information we collect

• Newsletter: email address when you subscribe. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in our emails or by contacting us.
• Reviews & ratings: star rating, optional display name, and related review content you submit on a recipe page.
• Messages: anything you send us by email or through our contact page.

Information collected automatically

• Usage activity: pages and recipes viewed, saves (including Pinterest and favorites actions), cooking-mode starts, and similar interactions that help us understand what content is popular.
• Device & technical data: approximate location/country (when available from your connection or hosting provider), browser language, user agent / device type, and a hashed form of your IP address used for abuse prevention and aggregate analytics—not to identify you by name.
• Favorites: recipes you heart may be stored in your browser’s local storage on your device so they persist between visits. That list stays on your device unless you clear site data.
• Cookies & similar technologies: small files or storage used for essential site functions, analytics, advertising, and consent preferences (see below).

We do not require you to create a public user account to browse recipes. Admin accounts used to manage the site are separate and not covered as “visitor” accounts in this policy.

2. How we use information

• Operate, maintain, and improve Keep Your Diet Real (including recipe discovery and search).
• Display recipes, posts, reviews, and related features such as cooking mode.
• Send newsletter emails if you opted in (and process unsubscribe requests).
• Measure traffic and engagement (for example, which recipes are viewed or cooked).
• Show ads and measure ad performance through our advertising partners.
• Prevent spam, abuse, and fraud (including limiting duplicate reviews).

We do not sell your name or email as a standalone mailing list.
