If you’re in need of a quick and healthy snack or activity for your kids this summer, try making these yummy orange creamsicle smoothie pops! They’re so simple to make and 100% free of artificial colors, artificial sweeteners and preservatives (unlike most “kid friendly” pops). Kids love to help in the kitchen, so ask them to assist with making this recipe!
Note: You may need to resist the temptation to drink the entire mixture before pouring it into the plastic cups. I say this because that is what almost happened to me. It’s so delicious! Kinda reminds me of a lighter Orange Julius. Yeah, it’s scary good.
Random fact: I am not ashamed to admit that I learned to make popsicles at the age of 7 while watching a highly informative episode of Pee-Wee’s Playhouse. We all have to start somewhere.
This recipe was inspired and adapted by a recipe that I found on Meal Makeover Moms.

- In a blender or smoothie maker, combine orange juice, yogurt, frozen pineapple, shredded coconut, vanilla extract and maple syrup. Mix on medium setting until smooth and fully combined.
- Place 12 (3 oz size) plastic cups into cupcake/muffin pan spots. Pour mixture into cups filling each about 3/4 full. Place in the freezer for 10 minutes to allow mixture to set and then remove from freezer and insert short wooden craft/popsicle sticks into the center of each cup. Place tray back into the freezer and allow pops to set for 2 hours or until completely frozen. Enjoy!
