This recipe has been around for years. I got it from one of my food science professors but I’m not sure where she got it from. My family loves this recipe (except for Kevin) and my dad requests that I make it for family parties. It is a good way to introduce tofu to someone who has never had it before…mainly because you wouldn’t know it’s in there unless you said something. Shhhh….

Spinach Tofu Dip



  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine all ingredients and stir until mixture is well blended.
  2. Refrigerate for 1-2 hours before serving or serve immediately.
  3. Serve with raw sliced veggies (i.e. cucumbers, green peppers, red peppers, and baby grape tomatoes) or whole grain crackers.

    how do you get the tofu that small? did you put it in a food processor or something? might be a dumb question but just wondering!

  6. Hi Trina….I dried the tofu with a paper towel and then just crumbled it with my hands until it got super small. A food processor would make this a lot easier…I just don’t like to wash dishes. :)

    Hi! Sounds great but do you think, or have you tried to make this with silken tofu?

  8. @ Cindy….No, I actually have not used silken, but that is a great suggestion! I usually use the extra firm because I like it to have a chunkier texture.
