Finding this recipe was like coming in contact with the elusive white buffalo. Everything you’d imagine it would be and more.
Originally, I found a similar recipe from a Good Housekeeping magazine, but I adjusted the recipe to cut back on the sugar and add more fresh fruit vs. sorbet. And…it’s still so delicious! Works great as a refreshing poolside drink or light after dinner dessert.
- Combine all ingredients in a blender or smoothie maker on medium/high speed until smooth.
Less water will give the consistency of an Italian ice and more water will be like a drink, less like a slushie.
*Sweeteners are optional/to taste. Confectioners sugar can be swapped for honey, agave, stevia, etc.
