Oh man. This is one of the best things I’ve eaten in a while. It’s hard to even call it a recipe because it’s so easy to make…it’s really more of a secret. With just 4 simple ingredients it tastes just like soft serve ice cream or a super thick milkshake. It works great as a nice easy weeknight treat for kids. Let me know what you think!

The recipe was adapted from and inspired by a recipe for peanut butter-banana mousse from the Food Network Magazine cookbook.

Banana Peanut Butter Ice Cream

Note: Nutrition Facts were calculated on ice cream ingredients only and not with the addition of hot chocolate sauce, chopped peanuts or cherries.

Directions:

  1. In a food processor or (strong) blender/smoothie maker, combine frozen banana, peanut butter, honey and milk. Blend until completely smooth – about 1-2 minutes. Garnish with chocolate sauce, chopped peanuts and/or a cherry.
