I love recipes that are good for you, taste great and take less than 10 minutes to make. This is one of those recipes. I first tried edamame hummus on a veggie wrap and absolutely loved it! If you have never tried edamame (soybeans) then this dip might be a good place to start. It works well as a spread on a wrap or sandwich or as a dip for veggies, crackers or pita bread. Kids love dips too…so put out a plate of raw veggies and a little dip and see what happens. You might be pleasantly surprised;)



  1. In a food processor, combine edamame (shelled), garlic, tahini, cumin, water, soy sauce, lime juice, sea salt and cilantro. Mix on medium/low speed for 2-3 minutes or until all ingredients are thoroughly blended and hummus mixture is smooth.
  2. Serve with your favorite crackers, pita bread, sliced raw veggies, etc. Fresh homemade hummus can be stored in a refrigerator for 2-3 days.
  3. Optional Garnishes: cooked edamame beans, cilantro leaves, etc.
